Minister Warns of Heavy Rain: Deep Depression to Bring Intense Showers in Odisha

ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତ ସୃଷ୍ଟି। ଅବପାତ ଘନୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତରେ ପରିଣତ ହୋଇଛି। ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଓ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗ ଉପକୂଳ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିବ ଏହି ଗଭୀର ଅବପାତ। ଏହାର ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଆଜି ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ପୂର୍ବ ତୁଳନାରେ ଆହୁରି ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷିବ। ୩ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଭୀଷଣ ବର୍ଷା ନେଇ ସତର୍କ କରାଇଛି ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ।

A deep depression has formed over the Bay of Bengal after intensifying from a depression. The weather system is expected to cross the north Odisha–West Bengal coast. Under its influence, heavy rainfall is likely across Odisha today, with rainfall expected to be more intense than earlier. The Regional Meteorological Centre has warned of very heavy rainfall in three districts. The minister has also urged people to remain alert amid the possibility of intense rain.
