ଭଙ୍ଗା କାନ୍ଥ..ଅଧାପନ୍ତରିଆ ଘର...ଇଏ କେବଳ ଇଟା ଓ ସିମେଣ୍ଟର ଚିତ୍ର ନୁହେଁ, ଏହା ଜଣେ ଗରିବ ବୃଦ୍ଧାଙ୍କ ଅଧୁରା ସ୍ୱପ୍ନର କାହାଣୀ। ଏ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଝରିଗାଁ ବ୍ଲକ ଚକଳାପଦର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଲହଣ୍ଡାସିଲ ଗାଁର ରୁକ୍ମଣୀ କରୁଣା ଭୁଞ୍ଜିଆ। ବୟସର ଅପରାହ୍ନରେ ନିଜର ଏକ ପକ୍କା ଘର ପାଇଁ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଥିଲେ। ସରକାରୀ ଯୋଜନାରେ ଆସିଥିଲା ଟଙ୍କା। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏକୁଟିଆ ମଣିଷ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ଘର ତିଆରି କରିବାକୁ ସାହସ ହୋଇନଥିଲା । ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ। ଆଉ ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ହିଁ ରୁକ୍ମଣୀଙ୍କ ଆବାସ ସ୍ବପ୍ନକୁ ଛାରଖାର କରିଦେଲା ।
Broken walls and an incomplete house tell the story of Rukmani Karuna Bhunjia, an elderly woman from Lahandasila village under Chakalapadar Panchayat in Jharigam block. She had dreamed of having a permanent house in her later years. Financial assistance had reportedly been provided under a government housing scheme. However, being alone, Rukmani did not have the confidence to undertake the construction herself. She therefore entrusted the responsibility of building the house to another person.
