Panic gripped Dhenkanal after a bomb attack was reported near Shasan Chhak in Chandan Bazar under the Town Police Station limits. According to initial information, a group of unidentified miscreants allegedly arrived on motorcycles, hurled bombs at the spot and fled. While three bombs exploded, one unexploded bomb was found at the scene.
Police suspect the incident may be linked to previous enmity, though the exact motive is yet to be established. After receiving information, the Dhenkanal Town Police reached the spot, secured the area and launched an investigation. Further inquiry is underway to identify and trace those involved.
