ଆସନ୍ତା ୭ ତାରିଖରେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରେ ଇଷ୍ଟର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜୋନାଲ କାଉନସିଲ ଷ୍ଟାଣ୍ଡିଂ କମିଟି ବୈଠକ। ଯୋଗ ଦେବେ ୪ ରାଜ୍ୟର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ, ପୋଲିସ ଡିଜି ଓ ଗୃହ ସଚିବ। କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଅଧିକାରୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ସାମିଲ ହେବେ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ୮୭ ଜଣ ଅଫିସରଙ୍କୁ ନିୟୋଜିତ କଲେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର । ଏହି ୧୫ତମ ଷ୍ଟାଣ୍ଡିଂ କମିଟି ବୈଠକରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ସଚିବ ଅନୁ ଗର୍ଗ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତା କରିବେ। ବୈଠକରେ ଓଡିଶା ସମେତ ବିହାର, ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡ ଓ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ସଚିବମାନଙ୍କ ସମେତ ଗୃହ ସଚିବ ଓ ପୁଲିସ ଡିଜିମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯୋଗ ଦେବେ। ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ପୂର୍ବାଂଚଳ ଜୋନାଲ କାଉନସିଲ୍ ବୈଠକ ପାଇଁ ଏଜେଣ୍ଡା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରଣ କରିବା ଓ ପୂର୍ବ ବୈଠକର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତିଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ବୈଠକରେ ସମୀକ୍ଷା ହେବ। ମୁଖ୍ୟତଃ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଓ ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡ ସୀମାରେ ମାଓବାଦୀ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୂଳପୋଛ ଓ ମାଦକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଚୋରାଚାଲାଣ ରୋକିବା ପାଇଁ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ନାର୍କୋଟିକ୍ସ ସମନ୍ୱୟ ପୋର୍ଟାଲର ବ୍ୟବହାର ଉପରେ ବିଶେଷ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦିଆଯିବ। ଏହାସହିତ ପୂର୍ବାଂଚଳ ରାଜ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଦୁର୍ଗମ ଅଂଚଳରେ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ ଓ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କିଙ୍ଗ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ସୁଧାର ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତି ୫କିମି ପରିଧି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କିଙ୍ଗ ଆଉଟଲେଟ୍ ଓ ଡ଼ାକଘର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୋଇଥିବା ବ୍ଲୁ-ପ୍ରିଣ୍ଟ ଉପରେ ବିଚାରବିମର୍ଶ ହେବ। ରାଜ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ସୀମା ବିବାଦ ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଲୋଚନା ହେବ ବୋଲି ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି ।

Bhubaneswar will host the 15th Eastern Zonal Council Standing Committee meeting on July 7, bringing together Chief Secretaries, Directors General of Police (DGPs), and Home Secretaries from Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal, along with senior officials from the Central Government. Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg will chair the meeting, and the State Government has deployed 87 officers for the event.
The meeting will focus on finalising the agenda for the upcoming Eastern Zonal Council meeting and reviewing the implementation of decisions taken during previous meetings. Key discussions will include the complete elimination of Maoist activities along the Odisha-Jharkhand border, strengthening efforts to curb narcotics smuggling through the National Narcotics Coordination Portal (NCORD), and enhancing inter-state coordination.
The committee will also deliberate on improving communication and banking facilities in remote areas of the eastern states through a blueprint for establishing banking outlets and post offices within a 5-km radius. Inter-state border disputes are also expected to be taken up during the meeting.
