ସାପୁଆ ନଦୀରେ ଘାଇ, ଚାଷ ଜମିରେ ମାଡିଗଲା ପାଣି। ପାଣି ସିନା ଛାଡିଗଲା କିନ୍ତୁ ଚାଷୀ ଏବେ ହତାଶ। ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଛି ଏକର ଏକର ପନିପରିବା ଚାଷ। କଟକ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଆଠଗଡ ତିଗିରିଆ ବ୍ଲକ ଭୀରୁଡ଼ା ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ପୁରୁଣା କଟକ ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ରାସ୍ତା କୁ ସଂଯୋଗ କରୁଥିବା ବନ୍ଧ ରାସ୍ତା ଧସି ଘାଇ ହୋଇ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଗାଁରେ ପାଣି ମାଡି ଯାଇଥିଲା। ଚାଷ ଜମିରେ ପାଣି ପଶିବା କାରଣରୁ ବାଲି ମାଡି ଯାଇଛି। ଯାହାଦ୍ବାରା ଫସଲ ସବୁ ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଛି।
Acres of vegetable crops have been destroyed after floodwater from a breach in the Sapua River embankment inundated farmland in the Bhiruda area of Tigiria block under Athagarh in Cuttack district. The breach occurred along the embankment road connecting the Old Cuttack–Sambalpur Main Road, allowing water to enter several villages. Although the floodwater has receded, large quantities of sand have been deposited on agricultural land, leaving crops damaged and farmers facing significant losses.
