ସରକାରୀ କଲେଜରେ ଅଣଶିକ୍ଷକ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ଆସିଛି ବଡ଼ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ । ପ୍ରିନ୍ସିପାଲଙ୍କଠାରୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି କ୍ଷମତା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର କରାଯିବା ସହ ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ଶିକ୍ଷା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମତା ଦେଇଛି ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ବିଭାଗ । ସରକାରୀ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁଷ୍ଠାନରେ ଅଣଶିକ୍ଷକ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି ଏହି ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ।

The Odisha Higher Education Department has introduced a major administrative reform by withdrawing recruitment powers from principals for non-teaching posts in government colleges and teacher education institutions. As per a new official directive, the authority to appoint Group-B, Group-C and Group-D non-teaching staff will now rest with the respective Regional Directors of Education across the state.
According to the department, the move aims to bring greater uniformity, better coordination, enhanced administrative accountability and a standardised recruitment process across all government higher educational institutions.
Earlier, principals were empowered to make these appointments. With the latest order, the Odisha Government has centralised the recruitment authority to ensure consistent implementation of recruitment policies throughout the state.
