An 11-year-old girl allegedly died after a 108 ambulance developed a mechanical fault while shifting her from Narla Community Health Centre (CHC) to Bhawanipatna in Odisha. The grieving family has alleged that the ambulance remained stranded on the way for nearly three hours after suffering a tyre puncture, causing a critical delay in medical treatment. The girl's father has raised serious allegations against the emergency ambulance service, claiming that the delay proved fatal for his daughter. The incident has once again brought the reliability of emergency healthcare transport services under scrutiny in the region.
