A shocking incident has surfaced from Jaratola village under Santoshpur Gram Panchayat in Bisra Block of Rourkela, where unidentified miscreants allegedly poured petrol through the window of a house and set a young woman on fire while she was asleep, in an alleged attempt to murder her. Police and a scientific team have reached the spot and started an investigation. The motive behind the attack and the identity of the accused are yet to be established. According to the source, the reason behind the incident remains unclear, and investigators are examining all possible angles to ascertain who carried out the attack and why.
