A tragic incident was reported from the Shanti Nagar area under Badabazar police limits in Berhampur, where a young woman allegedly set herself on fire after pouring kerosene on herself. She suffered severe burn injuries and was initially treated locally before being referred to Cuttack for advanced medical care. However, she succumbed to her injuries while being shifted to the hospital.
