Vigilance Catches Nabarangpur Livestock Inspector Taking ₹80,000 Bribe

ବାବୁଙ୍କ ଘରେ ବିଡ଼ା ବିଡ଼ା ଟଙ୍କା । ପୁଣି ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଜାଲରେ ପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଲାଞ୍ଚୁଆ ଅଫିସର । ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର ପ୍ରାଣୀଧନ ନୀରିକ୍ଷକ ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲ ହାଲଦାରଙ୍କୁ ଧରିଛି ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ । ରାଇଘର ବ୍ଲକରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କାମଧେନୁ ଯୋଜନାରେ ସବସିଡି ଟଙ୍କା କରାଇଦେବାକୁ ୮୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେଉଥିଲେ ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲ । ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନଦେଲେ ହିତାଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସବସିଡି ରାଶି ଅଟକାଇ ଦେବାକୁ ଧମକ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ୮୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଜବତ କରି ଆୟବହିର୍ଭୂତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଠୁଳ ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ଏକାଧିକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରେଡ୍ କରୁଛି ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ।
A Livestock Inspector, Prafulla Haldar, was caught by Vigilance while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹80,000 in Raighar Block of Nabarangpur district. According to the allegations, he demanded the money to facilitate subsidy benefits under the Chief Minister Kamadhenu Scheme and reportedly threatened beneficiaries with withholding the subsidy if they refused to pay. Vigilance seized the cash and has launched simultaneous raids at multiple locations to investigate allegations of disproportionate assets linked to the officer.
