An alleged error in the traffic e-challan system has left a vehicle owner in Bhubaneswar worried after receiving a ₹2,000 overspeeding fine for an incident reportedly recorded in Jankia. The owner, Mithun Bishoi, claims his vehicle was parked in Bhubaneswar when the violation allegedly occurred. Questions have also been raised over the vehicle details, with allegations that a truck registration number was linked to a Dzire car in the challan records. The incident has sparked concerns over the accuracy of automated traffic enforcement and e-challan systems.
