Tension prevailed at Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, after students of a private nursing college alleged that they were assaulted by some university students. According to the allegations, the nursing students had gone to meet the Vice-Chancellor regarding various demands when the incident occurred. Following the alleged assault, hundreds of nursing students launched a sit-in protest outside the university campus. The agitation has continued for more than 12 hours, with the protesting students demanding action and raising several demands related to the incident. The situation remains tense as the students continue their demonstration seeking justice.
