A tragic road accident in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha, claimed the lives of three bike riders after their motorcycle fell into a roadside pond near the Kuamara village Post Office area under Khunta Police Station limits. According to the source, the three youths were travelling on a single bike at high speed when they lost control and collided with a culvert.
The impact of the collision reportedly threw the motorcycle directly into the pond beside the road. Local residents rescued the three riders and rushed them to a hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
Police have started an investigation into the accident to ascertain the exact cause of the crash. The incident has raised concerns over road safety and the dangers of overspeeding.
