Odisha Cabinet Clears 11 Proposals; Approves ₹2,995 Crore Tribal Livelihood Mission

ରାଜ୍ୟ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟରେ ୧୧ଟି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବକୁ ମୋହର । ୬ଟି ବିଭାଗର ୧୧ଟି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବକୁ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ୍ ମୋହର । ପ୍ରେସମିଟରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବଙ୍କ ସୂଚନା । ଜଳସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ୪ଟି ବଡ଼ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ମଞ୍ଜୁରୀ । ଚାଷ ଜମିକୁ ଜଳସେଚନ ପାଇଁ ଜଳ ସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ହେବ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ । ବୈଠକରେ GST ଅଧିନିୟମ ୨୦୧୭ ସଂଶୋଧନକୁ ମଞ୍ଜୁରୀ । ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଜନଜାତି ଜୀବିକା ମିଶନ ୨.୦କୁ ଅନୁମୋଦନ । ୨୯୯୫ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର ବ୍ୟୟବରାଦକୁ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ ଅନୁମୋଦନ । ୧୯ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୧୩୪ ବ୍ଲକରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହେବ ଜୀବିକା ମିଶନ । ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ST ପରିବାରକୁ ୨ଟି କିସ୍ତିରେ ୩୦ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କାର ଅନୁଦାନ ରାଶି ମିଳିବ । ଓଡ଼ିଶା ରାଜ୍ୟ ବିଧି ସେବା କ୍ୟାଡର ନିୟମାବଳୀ ୨୦୨୬କୁ ଅନୁମୋଦନ ।

The Odisha Cabinet has approved 11 proposals from six departments, Chief Secretary informed during a press briefing. Among the major decisions, the Water Resources Department received approval for four major projects aimed at improving irrigation facilities and providing water to agricultural lands across the state.

The Cabinet also approved amendments to the GST Act, 2017 and gave the nod to the Mukhyamantri Janajati Jibika Mission 2.0 with a budget allocation of ₹2,995 crore. The livelihood mission will be implemented across 134 blocks in 19 districts, providing financial assistance to every Scheduled Tribe (ST) family in two instalments totalling ₹30,000.

The Cabinet further approved the Odisha State Legal Services Cadre Rules, 2026. The decisions were announced after the state cabinet meeting, focusing on irrigation development, tribal livelihood support, and administrative reforms.
