Concern is growing in Bhubaneswar after allegations surfaced that an unidentified elderly man has been repeatedly targeting women and young girls who are alone in the Nayapalli area. According to complaints, the man approaches women on the pretext of asking for plot numbers or addresses and then allegedly makes obscene gestures and behaves inappropriately. A young woman recently alleged that she faced a similar incident while heading towards ID Market, while CCTV footage reportedly captured the suspect leaving the area on a scooter. The repeated allegations have raised fresh concerns over women's safety in the state capital.
