ତାମିଲନାଡୁ ଟ୍ରାଜେଡି; ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଓଡ଼ିଆଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ। ଚିକିତ୍ସାଧୀନ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ଆଖି ବୁଜିଲେ ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଜୁଆଙ୍ଗ ଯୁବତୀ। ମୃତକ ଅନୁଗୁଳ ଖମାର ଥାନା ଆଲୁରି ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଅନ୍ଧାରି ସାହିର ବୁଧୁବାରୀ ନାଏକ ବୋଲି ଜଣାପଡିଛି। ସଙ୍କଟାପନ୍ନ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସିତ ହେଉଥିଲେ ଯୁବତୀ। ଏହାସହ ଆମୋନିଆ ଗ୍ୟାସ୍ ଲିକ୍ ଘଟଣାରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ୧୩କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି। ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ୨୩ ଜଣ ଯୁବତୀ ଓ ୩୫ ଜଣ ଯୁବକଙ୍କୁ ତାମିଲନାଡୁ ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର। ଗତକାଲି ତାମିଲନାଡୁ ପୋଲିସ ଘଟଣାରେ ୪ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଅଟକ ରଖି ପଚରା ଉଚରା କରିଛି। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରୀକାନ୍ତ ଜୁଆଙ୍ଗ ଓ ରାଜେଶ କଣ୍ଟ୍ରାକଟର ମଧ୍ୟ ରହିଛି। ଏପଟେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଶ୍ରମିକ ଚାଲାଣକୁ ନେଇ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରମ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ମାମଲା ମଧ୍ୟ ଦାୟର ହୋଇ ନଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଛି।

The death toll in the Tamil Nadu ammonia gas leak tragedy has risen to 13 after another Odia woman succumbed while undergoing treatment. The deceased has been identified as Budhubari Nayak, a member of the Juang community from Andhari Sahi under Aluri Panchayat in Khamar police limits of Angul district, Odisha. She had been battling for life in hospital following the incident.
Meanwhile, the Odisha government has facilitated the return of 58 migrant workers from Tamil Nadu, including 23 women and 35 men. The move comes amid growing concerns over the safety and welfare of migrant labourers affected by the tragedy.
Tamil Nadu Police have reportedly detained four persons for questioning in connection with the incident, including Srikant Juang and contractor Rajesh. Allegations have also surfaced that the Odisha Labour Department is yet to register a case regarding the alleged trafficking and transportation of labourers linked to the incident.
