The Haryana Government has approved a major incentive to promote clean mobility by granting a 100% motor vehicle tax exemption on new battery-powered electric vehicles with an ex-showroom price of up to ₹30 lakh. The decision was approved at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini as part of the state's 2026–27 Budget commitments.
