A fresh investigation has been launched into allegations of an alleged nexus between ganja smugglers and a former Inspector In-Charge (IIC) of Manamunda Police Station in Boudh, Odisha. Former IIC Sasmita Magar has again come under public scrutiny after questions were reportedly raised over her alleged role during the investigation into a major ganja seizure. The allegations, however, have not been officially established, and the inquiry is still underway.
