A school in Rajualibindha under Arnapal Panchayat in Bhadrak district reopened five days after floodwaters receded, but regular classes could not resume. According to the source, floodwater from the Salandi River had entered the school premises, and only a few students reported on the first day. Teachers spent the day cleaning and disinfecting classrooms with bleaching powder before allowing students to resume normal academic activities.
