A fresh health scare has emerged in Gujarat as the Chandipura virus has claimed the lives of 22 children during the ongoing monsoon season. According to Gujarat Health Minister Praful Pansheriya, 35 infections have been confirmed out of 184 suspected cases, while seven children remain under treatment in hospitals across Gandhinagar, Sabarkantha, Patan, Rajkot and Bhavnagar. Eleven more samples are awaiting test results.
