A tragic incident occurred at the Naraj Old River Embankment (Naraj Barrage area) in Cuttack, where three youths from Machhua Bazaar were swept away by the strong current of the Mahanadi River while bathing and reportedly taking selfies. Local residents immediately launched a rescue operation and rescued two youths with the help of a boat. One youth remains missing.
