Search Operation Underway After Woman Jumps into Kuakhai River Near Bhubaneswar

ଭରା କୁଆଖିଆ ନଦୀକୁ ଡେଇଁଲେ ମହିଳା। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର-କଟକ ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ ହାଇଟେକ୍ ଛକ ନିକଟ କୁଆଖିଆ ନଦୀକୁ ଜଣେ ମହିଳା ଡେ଼ଇଁ ପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ପରିଚୟ ମିଳିପାରିନାହିଁ। ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରୁ ମଞ୍ଚେଶ୍ବର ଥାନା ପୋଲିସ ଓ ପାହାଳରୁ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀର ୨ଟି ଟିମ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଖୋଜାଖୋଜି କରିଛନ୍ତି। ପାୱାର ବୋଟ ସାହାଯ୍ୟରେ ସର୍ଚ୍ଚ ଅପରେସନ ଜାରି ରହିଛି। ବନ୍ୟା ପାଇଁ ନଦୀରେ ଏବେ ପାଣି ଅଧିକ ଥିବାରୁ ମହିଳା ଜଣକ ଦୂରକୁ ଭାସି ଯାଇଥିବା ସନ୍ଦେହ କରାଯାଉଛି।
An unidentified woman allegedly jumped into the Kuakhai River near Hitech Square on the Bhubaneswar–Cuttack National Highway. Personnel from Mancheswar Police Station and two teams of the Fire Services from Pahala rushed to the spot and launched a search operation. Rescue teams are using power boats to search the river. With the river carrying a high volume of water due to the ongoing floods, authorities suspect the woman may have been swept away by the strong current. The search operation is continuing.
