ସମୟ ଗଲା... ଚାଷ ବି ଗଲା... ବାଲି ଚରି ଫସଲ ଉଜୁଡ଼ିଲା... ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ପରେ ନୀଳଗିରି ଉପଖଣ୍ଡରେ ବଢିଛି ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା। ହେକ୍ଟର ହେକ୍ଟର ଚାଷ ଜମିରେ ଚରିଯାଇଛି ବାଲି। ଫଳରେ ଧାନ ତଳି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଛି। ବିଲରେ ବାଲି ଜମିଥିବାରୁ ଚାଷ କରିବା ସମ୍ଭବ ହେଉନଥିବା ବେଳେ ଚାଷୀମାନେ ଏବେ ଚିନ୍ତାରେ। ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଔପଦା ବ୍ଲକର କଣ୍ଟାବଣିଆ ଗାଁରେ ଚାଷୀ ଏବେ ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶାରେ।
Incessant rainfall has worsened the plight of farmers in the Nilagiri subdivision of Balasore district. Sand has spread across hectares of farmland, completely destroying paddy seedlings and leaving farmers facing a major setback.
