Rayagada Mob Violence Case: 20 Arrested, Crime Branch Joins Probe; Red Flag Status Requested

'ରେଡ୍ ଫ୍ଲାଗ୍ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ହେବ ରାୟଗଡ଼ା ଭିଡ ହିଂସା। ଏନେଇ ରାଜ୍ୟ ପୋଲିସ ମୁଖ୍ୟାଳୟକୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ରାୟଗଡ଼ା ଏସପି ରାଜ ପ୍ରସାଦ। ପ୍ରେସମିଟରେ ଏସପି କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଘଟଣାରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୨୦ ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରାଯାଇଛି। ବାକି ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଧରିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଟିମ୍ ଗଠନ ହୋଇଛି। ଏହା ଏକ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ନିନ୍ଦନୀୟ ଏବଂ ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ ଘଟଣା। ୩ ଟି ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ କରାଯାଇ ତଦନ୍ତ ଚାଲିଛି। ତଦନ୍ତରେ କ୍ରାଇମବ୍ରାଞ୍ଚ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପୋଲିସକୁ ସହଯୋଗ କରୁଛି। ଘଟଣାର ଭିଡିଓ ଭାଇରାଲ କରିଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ପାଇଁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ ଚାଲିଛି। ଘଟଣାର ଭିଡିଓ ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ ଓ ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆରେ ଭାଇରାଲ କରିଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଇଟି ଆଇନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ହେବ ବୋଲି ଏସପି କହିଛନ୍ତି।

The Rayagada mob violence case has been marked for “Red Flag” status, with the district police requesting the State Police Headquarters for further classification. According to SP Raj Prasad, 20 people have already been arrested in connection with the incident, while special teams have been formed to trace the remaining accused. The case has been described as highly sensitive and serious, with three separate FIRs registered and an active investigation underway. The Crime Branch has also joined the probe to assist local police. Authorities are also identifying individuals who recorded and circulated the incident videos on social media, and legal action under the IT Act will be initiated against those responsible for spreading the footage online.
