Puri Unveils Massive Traffic Plan for Rath Yatra, 30 Parking Zones Identified

ପବିତ୍ର ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ପାଇଁ ପୁରୀ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ୍ କଣ୍ଟ୍ରୋଲ୍ ରୁମ୍ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବ୍ୟାପକ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ୍ ଓ ପାର୍କିଂ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି। ଲକ୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷ ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କ ସମାଗମକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ଯାତାୟାତ, ପାର୍କିଂ, ସିସିଟିଭି ନଜର ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁଙ୍କ ସୁବିଧା ଉପରେ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଧ୍ୟାନ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଚଳିତ ବର୍ଷ ମୋଟ ୩୦ଟି ପାର୍କିଂ ସ୍ଥାନ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଗତବର୍ଷ ତୁଳନାରେ ଏଥର ୬ଟି ନୂଆ ପାର୍କିଂ ଜୋନ୍ ସାମିଲ କରାଯାଇଛି । ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ କଡ଼ାକଡ଼ି କରିବା ସହ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ୍ ଉପରେ ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣ ନଜର ରଖିବାକୁ ୨୪୪ଟି ସିସିଟିଭି କ୍ୟାମେରା ଏବଂ ୩ଟି ଡ୍ରୋନ୍ ନିୟୋଜିତ କରାଯାଇଛି। ବଡ଼ଦାଣ୍ଡ ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ସଂଯୋଗ କରୁଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ରାସ୍ତାକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ 'ନୋ ଭେଇକିଲ୍ ଜୋନ୍' ଭାବେ ଘୋଷଣା କରାଯାଇଛି।

Ahead of the sacred Rath Yatra, the Puri Traffic Control Room has rolled out an extensive traffic and parking management plan to handle the arrival of lakhs of devotees. Special focus has been placed on traffic movement, parking facilities, surveillance and pilgrim convenience during the festival.
A total of 30 parking locations have been identified this year, including six new parking zones added compared to last year. Authorities expect the additional facilities to ease congestion and improve crowd management.
To strengthen security and monitor traffic movement, 244 CCTV cameras and three drones have been deployed across the city. Meanwhile, Bada Danda and all roads connecting to the Shree Jagannath Temple have been declared complete no-vehicle zones during the festival period.
