ଝାରସୁଗୁଡ଼ା ପୋଲିସକୁ ବଡ଼ ସଫଳତା। ଜବତ ହୋଇଛି ବିପୁଳ ପରିମାଣର କୋଡିନ୍ ଯୁକ୍ତ କଫ୍ ସିରଫ୍। ମାମଲାରେ ବଡ଼ମାଳ ପୁଲିସ ୨ ଆନ୍ତଃରାଜ୍ୟ ନିଶା ବେପାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରିଛି। ୨୩ ହଜାର ୬୪୦ ବୋତଲ କଫ୍ ସିରଫ୍ ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଛି। ତା’ସହ ଗୋଟିଏ ଟ୍ରକ୍, କ୍ରେଟା କାର୍ ଓ ନଗଦ ୨ ଲକ୍ଷ ୪୪ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଜବତ କରିଛି ପୋଲିସ। ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡ ଚାଇବାସାରୁ ନିଶା ଚାଲାଣ ହେଉଥିଲା।
Jharsuguda Police achieved a major breakthrough by seizing 23,640 bottles of codeine-based cough syrup and arresting two interstate drug traffickers in connection with the case. The operation was carried out by Badmal Police, who also seized a truck, a Hyundai Creta car, and ₹2.44 lakh in cash during the crackdown. According to the source, the contraband was allegedly being transported from Chaibasa in Jharkhand as part of an interstate drug trafficking network. The investigation into the case is underway.
