Police Constable Arrested Over Alleged Dowry Harassment and Wife's Death

ଖାକିରେ ଲାଗିଲା ଦାଗ। ଯୌତୁକ ନିର୍ଯାତନା ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟଣାରେ ବନ୍ଧା ହେଲେ ପୋଲିସ ବାବୁ। ଗିରଫ ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ ପିପିଲି ବ୍ଲକ ଦାଣ୍ଡମୁକୁନ୍ଦପୁର ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଖଣ୍ଡର ଶିବପ୍ରସାଦ ଟଙ୍ଗ । ସେ ସପ୍ତମ ବାଟାଲିୟନରେ ସିପାହୀ ଭାବେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରତ। ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଯୌତୁକ ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ଯାତନା ଦେବା ସହ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପାଇଁ ଦାୟୀ ଥିବା ନେଇ ଶଶୁର ଘର ଲୋକେ ପିପିଲି ଥାନାରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ। ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଆଧାରରେ ପୋଲିସ ଶିବପ୍ରସାଦଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରି କୋର୍ଟ ଚାଲାଣ କରିଛି।

A police constable has been arrested in connection with an alleged dowry harassment case linked to the death of his wife in Pipili, Odisha. The accused, Shibaprasad Tang of Dandamukundpur, serves as a constable in the 7th Battalion. According to the complaint filed by the victim's family, he allegedly subjected his wife to dowry-related harassment and was responsible for her death. Acting on the complaint, Pipili Police arrested the accused and produced him before the court.
