The Crime Branch has conducted a Lie Detection (Polygraph) Test on Om Prakash, a friend of Soumya Ranjan, in connection with the Balianta Soumya Ranjan murder case at the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) under tight security after obtaining court permission. Om Prakash had consented to the test, which aims to verify the authenticity of the statements he has made during the investigation. Meanwhile, Soumya Ranjan's family has alleged that there was a larger conspiracy behind the murder and has urged investigators to uncover the complete truth behind the case.
