ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନରତ ଡାକ୍ତରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସରକାରଙ୍କ କଡ଼ା ଆଭିମୁଖ୍ୟ । ରୋଗୀ ସେବା ଛାଡି ଧର୍ମଘଟ କରୁଥିବା ଡାକ୍ତରଙ୍କ ବନ୍ଦ ହେବ ଦରମା। ଏପରିକି ଚୁକ୍ତିଭିତ୍ତିକ ଡାକ୍ତରଙ୍କୁ ନୋଟିସ ଦେବା ପରେ ଟର୍ମିନେଟ୍ କରିବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛି ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ବିଭାଗ। OMHS କ୍ୟାଡର୍ ମେଡିକାଲ ଅଫିସରଙ୍କ ଦରମା ବନ୍ଦ ପାଇଁ କଡ଼ା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ରାଜ୍ୟର ସବୁ ମେଡିକାଲ୍ କଲେଜ ଓ ହସପିଟାଲ, ସିଡିଏମଓ ପିଏଚଓଙ୍କୁ ଚିଠି କରିଛି ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଓ ପରିବାର କଲ୍ୟାଣ ବିଭାଗ। ଏଥିସହ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେବାକୁ ଡାକ୍ତରଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିଛନ୍ତି ସରକାର। ସେପଟେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଧର୍ମଘଟ ଜାରି ରଖିଛିି, ଓଡ଼ିଶା ମେଡିକାଲ ସର୍ଭିସେସ୍ ଆସୋସିଏସନ-ଓମସା।

The Odisha Government has adopted a strict stand against doctors participating in the ongoing strike, directing that the salaries of OMHS Cadre medical officers who abstain from patient care be withheld. The Health & Family Welfare Department has also instructed authorities to issue notices to contractual doctors and proceed with termination if they fail to resume duty. Letters have been sent to all government medical colleges, hospitals and CDM&PHOs across the state, while the government has appealed to doctors to withdraw the agitation and return to work. However, the Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA) has decided to continue the protest, maintaining that its demands are justified. The association is pressing for a 10-point charter of demands, including implementation of Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP) from the due date under the Central pay structure, proportional cadre restructuring across all grades, enhanced incentives for super specialists, specialists, diploma doctors and administrators, and an increase in post-mortem allowance.
