୬ ଜିଲ୍ଲା... ୪୪ ବ୍ଲକ... ୨୩୩ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ... ୭୪୮ ଗାଁ... ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ବନ୍ୟାର ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା। କେଉଁଠି ଗାଁ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ, କେଉଁଠି ବନ୍ୟା ଆଁରେ ଘରଦ୍ୱାର ଆଉ ଚାଷଜମି। ରାଜ୍ୟର ୬ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଏବେ ବନ୍ୟାର ତାଣ୍ଡବ। ବାଲେଶ୍ବର, ଭଦ୍ରକ, ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ, ଯାଜପୁର, ମୟୂରଭଞ୍ଜ ଓ ସମ୍ବଲପୁରରେ ବନ୍ୟା ସ୍ଥିତି। ଆଉ ଏହି ବନ୍ୟା ଏଯାଏଁ ନେଇସାରିଲାଣି ୪ ଜଣଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ। ରାଜସ୍ବ ବିଭାଗର ତଥ୍ୟ ଅନୁସାରେ, ୬ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୪୪ ବ୍ଲକ ବନ୍ୟା ପ୍ରଭାବିତ। ୨୩୩ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତରେ ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି ବନ୍ୟା ସ୍ଥିତି। ୭୪୮ଟି ଗାଁ ଓ ୬ଟି ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳ ଉପରେ ପଡ଼ିଛି ବନ୍ୟାର ପ୍ରଭାବ।
Flooding has wreaked havoc across six districts of Odisha — Balasore, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur. According to Revenue Department data cited in the source, the flood situation has affected 44 blocks and 233 panchayats across these districts.
The floods have reportedly claimed four lives so far. A total of 748 villages and six urban areas have also been affected, with homes and agricultural land facing the impact of the flooding.
