More than a hundred security personnel working under L&K Security Agency at Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Odisha have launched a mass protest and stopped work. The guards allege that their salaries have not been paid for several months since December, and that EPF (Employees’ Provident Fund) and ESI (Employees’ State Insurance) contributions are not being properly deposited into their accounts. As a result, the entire security system at the hospital has reportedly been disrupted.
