Major Change in Lord Jagannath's Tahia Ahead of Bahuda Yatra

ଶ୍ରୀଜୀଉଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ତିଆରି ଚାଲିଛି ଟାହିଆ। ଏଥର ବାହୁଡ଼ାରେ ଦିଅଁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପୂର୍ବ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଟିକିଏ କମ ଓଜନର ଟାହିଆ ଲାଗିବ। ବର୍ଷାକୁ ଆଖି ଆଗରେ ରଖି କମା ଯାଉଛି ଟାହିଆର ଓଜନ। କାରଣ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ବେଳେ ଟାହିଆ ବର୍ଷା ପାଣି ଯୋଗୁଁ ଖୋଲି ଯାଇଥିଲା। ମୁଖ୍ୟ କାରିଗର ତଥା ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ଦୟଣା ମାଳି ସେବାୟତ ବସନ୍ତ କୁମାର ରଣା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ୭ କାରିଗର ଏବେ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଭାବେ ତିଆରି କରୁଛନ୍ତି।

A significant change has been made to Shreejiu's Tahia ahead of the Bahuda Yatra, with artisans preparing a lighter version than in previous years. The weight of the ceremonial headgear has been reduced keeping possible rainfall in mind, after the Tahia came apart due to heavy rain during the Rath Yatra. Chief artisan and Shree Jagannath Temple Dayana Mali Servitor Basanta Kumar Rana, along with his team of seven artisans, is specially crafting the Tahia to ensure its safety and stability during the sacred rituals.
