Fresh flooding in the Mahanadi has inundated several villages in Jagatsinghpur's Tirtol block, forcing affected families back to relief shelters. Just after cleaning their homes following the earlier flood, residents are once again facing waist-deep water inside houses and flooded roads. Villages including Kotakana Adivasi Sahi, Tirtol Adivasi Sahi, Manijanga Gopalsahi and Haripur have been severely affected.
