ଆଜି ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କ ନୀଳାଦ୍ରି ବିଜେ । ଏହି ଦିନ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ଶ୍ରୀଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚା ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ଫେରି ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ବିଜେ କରନ୍ତି। ଏତେ ଦିନ ଧରି ମାନ କରି ରହିଥିବା ମା’ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଙ୍କୁ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ରସଗୋଲା ଦେଇ ମାନଭଞ୍ଜନ କରିବାର ଅନନ୍ୟ ପରମ୍ପରା ରହିଛି। ଏହି ପରମ୍ପରା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସଂସ୍କୃତିରେ ରସଗୋଲାର ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଏ। ମହାଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ରାଧା ବଲ୍ଲଭ ମଠ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ରସୋଗଲା ଭୋଗ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ।
Today marks Niladri Bije, the concluding ritual of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra. On this day, Lord Jagannath returns from the Sri Gundicha Temple and enters the Srimandir. According to the traditional belief, Maa Lakshmi remains upset with Lord Jagannath for leaving the Srimandir during the Rath Yatra. Lord Jagannath seeks to appease her by offering Rasagola, a unique tradition associated with Niladri Bije.
