A youth, Prabir Kumar Das of Thakurpatana village under Ali police limits in Kendrapara district, has gone missing after he was reportedly swept away by floodwaters. He had left for Singhpur on the previous afternoon to buy medicine for his mother but did not return home. His motorcycle was later found near Ghoshara on the Manpur–Gobindpur road.
