ଶ୍ରୀଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚାର ପଞ୍ଚମ ଦିବସରେ ହେରାପଞ୍ଚମୀ ନୀତିକାନ୍ତି ପାଳନ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି । ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ଠାକୁରାଣୀଙ୍କୁ ପାଳିଆ ମହାଜନ ସେବକମାନେ ମାଜଣା କରିବା ପରେ ବନକ ଲାଗି, ପାଟ ଶାଢ଼ି, ଅଳଙ୍କାର ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ଲାଗି ହୋଇ ବେଶ କରିଥିଲେ । ବିମାନବଡୁ ସେବକମାନେ ବିମାନକୁ ଧାରଣ କରି ଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚା ଘର ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ରଥ ପାଶରେ ରଖିଥିଲେ।ବିଳମ୍ବିତ ରାତିରେ ସେଠାରେ ପତିମହାପାତ୍ର ପ୍ରସାଦ ଲାଗି, ବନ୍ଦାପନା, ଚାମର ଆଲଟ, ଘସା ବିଡ଼ିଆ ଓ ଦହି ପଟି ମଣୋହି କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।
The sacred Hera Panchami ritual was observed on the fifth day of the Shri Gundicha Yatra in Puri. After the ceremonial preparations, Goddess Lakshmi was adorned with traditional attire and ornaments before being taken by the Bimanabadu Sevaks to the front of the Gundicha Temple, where Lord Jagannath's chariot was stationed for darshan. Later in the night, temple rituals including Prasada Lagi by the Pati Mahapatra, Bandapana, Chamara Alata, Ghasa Bidiya, and Dahi Pati Manohi were performed as part of the traditional Hera Panchami observances.
