ପୁରୀରେ ରାତି ସାରା ବର୍ଷା। ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଉପୁଜିଛି। ଶରଧାବାଲି, ବହ୍ଲବ ମଠ, ବଳଗଣ୍ଡି ହାଇସ୍କୁଲ, ପୋଲିସ କ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟିନ୍, ହୋଟେଲ ନାୟକ ପ୍ଲାଜା, ଭୋଳାନାଥ ବିଦ୍ୟାପୀଠ ଆଦି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପିଣି ଭରିଯାଇଛି। ସହର ସାରା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଅନେକ ଉଚ୍ଚ-କ୍ଷମତା ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ପମ୍ପ ସେଟ୍ ଲଗାଯାଇ ପାଣି ନିଷ୍କାସିତ କରାଯାଉଛି । ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ଟିମ୍ ଏବଂ ଜରୁରୀକାଳୀନ ସେବା ନିୟୋଜିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି ।

Heavy rainfall throughout the night has triggered severe waterlogging in several parts of Puri, with knee-deep water reported at Sharadhabali and flooding in areas including Bahlab Math, Balagandi High School, Police Canteen, Hotel Nayak Plaza and Bholanath Vidyapith. Multiple high-capacity pump sets have been deployed across the city to drain the accumulated rainwater, while Odisha Fire & Emergency Services personnel remain engaged in restoration and emergency response operations.
