ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନବ ଦିନାତ୍ମକ ଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ମଝିରେ ରହିଲା ଆଉ ମାତ୍ର ୧୨ ଦିନ। ରତ୍ନବେଦୀରୁ ବାହାରି ଜନ୍ମବେଦୀ ଆଡ଼ପ ମଣ୍ଡପକୁ ବିଜେ କରିବେ ଶ୍ରୀଜୀଉ। ତା’ ଆଗରୁ ଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚା ମନ୍ଦିରର ଚାଲିଛି ନବୀକରଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ। କହିବାକୁ ଗଲେ ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟକରଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଏକପ୍ରକାର ଶେଷ ପର୍ଯାୟରେ। ଉତ୍ତରଦ୍ୱାର ଗୁମୁଟର ଭିତର ଓ ବାହାରେ ଖଣ୍ଡୋଲାଇଟ୍ ପଥର ଲଗାଇବା ସହ ନବୀକରଣ କରାଯାଇଛି। ସେହପରି ବିଜେରାସ୍ତା, ଭିତର ଚକଡ଼ା, ଜଗମୋହନ-ନାଟମଣ୍ଡପରେ ନୂଆ ପଥର ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ ଏସି ଲଗାଯାଇଛି। ଦୀର୍ଘବର୍ଷ ପରେ ଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚା ମନ୍ଦିରର ନବକଳେବର ହେଉଥିବାରୁ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବର୍ଗରେ ବଢ଼ିଛି ଉତ୍କଣ୍ଠା
With just 12 days left for Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra to begin their nine-day stay at the Janma Bedi (Adapa Mandap) during Rath Yatra, renovation and beautification works at the Shree Gundicha Temple in Puri have reached the final stage. The northern entrance has been renovated with Khondalite stone, while the Bije route, inner courtyard, Jagamohan and Natamandap have been upgraded with new stone flooring and air-conditioning facilities. After many years, the temple is witnessing a major facelift, generating immense excitement among devotees ahead of the annual divine sojourn.
