'Fulfil Our Demands for Better Healthcare': Government Doctors Launch Protest in Jajpur

ଆଜି ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ଡାକ୍ତର ଦିବସ। ଓଡ଼ିଶା ମେଡିକାଲ ସର୍ଭିସ ଆସୋସିଏସନର ଆହ୍ୱାନ କ୍ରମେ ଆଜି ଠାରୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବନ୍ଦ କରି ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନକୁ ଓହ୍ଲେଇଛନ୍ତି ସରକାରୀ ଡାକ୍ତର। ଯାଜପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୁଖ୍ୟଚିକିତ୍ସାଳୟରେ ଅନଶନରେ ବସିଛନ୍ତି ଯାଜପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ମେଡିକାଲରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରତ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ସରକାରୀ ଡାକ୍ତର।
On the occasion of National Doctors' Day, government doctors in Jajpur joined the statewide agitation called by the Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA). Doctors working in various government medical institutions of the district began a cease-work protest and staged a hunger strike at the Jajpur District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), demanding that the government fulfil their long-pending demands. The agitation is part of OMSA's indefinite strike that began on July 1.
