Floodwaters Submerge Hundreds of Hectares of Farmland in Bhadrak After Rivers Overflow

କାଂଶବାଂଶ ଏବଂ ଗମେଈ ନଦୀରେ ବନ୍ୟା,୩ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ଶତାଧିକ ହେକ୍ଟର ଚାଷ ଜମିରେ ୫ ଫୁଟ ଉଚ୍ଚର ବନ୍ୟା ପାଣି। ଭଦ୍ରକ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବାସୁଦେବପୁର ବ୍ଳକର ସୁଦର୍ଶନପୁର, ବରଣ୍ଡୁଆ, ରତାଙ୍ଗ, ନରସିଂହପୁର, କାଳିଦାସପୁର, ଆଦି ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଧାନତଳି ସହ ବୁଣାଜମି ବୁଡିରହିଛି। ସୁଦର୍ଶନପୁର, ରତାଙ୍ଗ ଓ ବରଣ୍ଡୁଆ ଗାଁରେ ଏକାଧିକ ପରିବାର ପାଣି ଘେରରେ ରହିଛନ୍ତି।
Flooding in the Kansabansa and Gamei rivers has submerged hundreds of hectares of agricultural land under nearly 5 feet of water in Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district. Paddy fields and cultivated land in Sudarshanpur, Barandua, Ratanga, Narasinghpur, Kalidaspur and nearby areas remain inundated. Several families in Sudarshanpur, Ratanga and Barandua villages are also stranded as floodwaters continue to surround their homes, highlighting the impact of the rising river levels on both agriculture and rural life.
