କମିଛି ପାଣି, ହେଲେ ଥମିନି ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା । ମହାନଦୀରେ ଗତ କାଲି ରାତି ଠାରୁ ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା ଥମିନାହିଁ । ଜଗତସିଂପୁରର କିଛି ଗାଁରୁ ପାଣି ଛାଡିବା ପରେ ଲୋକେ ଘରକୁ ଫେରିବା ସହ ଘର ସଜାଡ଼ିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ହେଲେ ମଣିଜଙ୍ଗା ଗାଁରୁ ପାଣି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ ଛାଡି ନଥିବାରୁ ବିପନ୍ନ ମାନେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ସ୍ଥଳ ଓ ନଦୀ ବନ୍ଧରେ ପଡିରହିଛନ୍ତି ।
Although floodwaters in the Mahanadi have started receding since last night, the suffering of flood-affected families in Jagatsinghpur district continues. Residents in several villages have begun returning to their homes and cleaning up after water levels dropped. However, floodwater has not completely receded from Manijanga village, leaving many affected people stranded in relief shelters and on river embankments. The situation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by residents despite the gradual improvement in flood conditions.
