Fire Services Rescue Elderly man as Floods Cut Off 30 Villages in Nayagarh

ନୟାଗଡ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଗଣିଆ ବ୍ଲକର ୪ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ୩୦ ଗାଁ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ। ୩ଟି ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ବାହ୍ୟ ଜଗତରୁ ବିଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହୋଇପଡ଼ିଛି। ଗଣିଆ ଠାରୁ ବଡ଼ମୂଳ ରାସ୍ତା ଉପରେ ୩ଫୁଟର ପାଣି ଲହଡ଼ି ମାରୁଛି। ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ଜଳସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ବୋଟ ସାହାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରୁଛି ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ। କାଦୁଆ ଗାଁର ଜଣେ ବୃଦ୍ଧାଙ୍କ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଖରାପ ହେବାରୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବୋଟରେ ନେଇ ଗଣିଆ ମେଡିକାଲରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି କରିଛନ୍ତି ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ।
Floods have left 30 villages across four Gram Panchayats in Gania Block of Odisha's Nayagarh district waterlogged, with three panchayats completely cut off from the outside world. Around three feet of water is flowing over the Gania–Badamula road as the water level continues to rise. Odisha Fire Services are evacuating stranded residents by boat, and rescued an elderly man from Kadua village after her health deteriorated, shifting her to Gania Medical for treatment. Rescue and evacuation operations are continuing in the affected areas.
