Odisha Floods: CM Mohan Majhi Says 8 Lakh Affected, Major Relief Measures Announced

ଚଳିତ ବନ୍ୟାରେ ୮ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ। ଆକାଶ ମାର୍ଗରୁ ୧୨ଟି ବ୍ଲକର ବନ୍ୟା ସ୍ଥିତି ସମୀକ୍ଷା ପରେ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ। ବନ୍ୟାରେ ୮ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ୨ ଲକ୍ଷ ୬୯ ହଜାର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରାଯାଇଛି । ୧୭ ଓଡ୍ରାଫ୍, ୭ NDRF, ୧୨୯ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ଟିମ୍ ନିୟୋଜିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି । SDRFରୁ ୨୬ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ମଞ୍ଜୁର କରାଯାଇଛି। ପାଣି ଛାଡ଼ିବାର ୩ ଦିନ ଭିତରେ କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତି ଆକଳନ ରିପୋର୍ଟ ଦେବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ବନ୍ୟା ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ମୁକାବିଲା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ନଦୀରେ ପାଣି କମିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି, ୨ ଦିନରେ ସ୍ଥିତି ସୁଧୁରିବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ।
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi reviewed the flood situation across 12 blocks through an aerial survey and announced that nearly 8 lakh people have been affected by the ongoing floods. He said that 2.69 lakh people have been shifted to safer places, while 17 ODRAF teams, 7 NDRF teams and 129 Fire Services teams are engaged in rescue and relief operations. The government has sanctioned ₹26 crore from the SDRF and directed officials to submit damage assessment reports within three days after the floodwaters recede. The Chief Minister also stated that the government is fully prepared for post-flood health management and expressed hope that the situation will improve within the next two days as river water levels have started receding.
