A major fire broke out at a private market complex in Gandhinagar Pada of Balangir town, Odisha, destroying more than eight shops, including an EV showroom. Two fire tenders were pressed into service and continued efforts to bring the blaze under control. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be established.
