The dismembered body of Suchitra Das was recovered a day after she went missing following a suspected crocodile attack in the Brahmani River at Damodar Patana under Alapua Panchayat in Pattamundai Block. She had reportedly gone to the river and did not return, prompting fears that a crocodile had dragged her away.
