Crocodile Drags Woman's Body Back Into River During Rescue in Odisha's Kendrapara

A tragic crocodile attack in Kendrapara district's Alapua area claimed the life of Suchitra Das from Damodar Patana village. After a three-hour search, rescue teams located her mutilated body nearly 2 km away near Baspur, but while attempting to recover it, the crocodile allegedly dragged the body back into the river. The woman had reportedly gone to the river in the morning, and her slippers and belongings were found on the riverbank before the search began. The incident has left the entire village in deep shock and mourning.
