Chief Engineer Gives Major Flood Update; River Levels Continue to Recede in Odisha

ବନ୍ୟା ସ୍ଥିତି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଜଳ ସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀପ ରାଉତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେସ ମିଟ୍। ଆନନ୍ଦପୁର ବ୍ୟାରେଜରେ ଆଜି ଜଳସ୍ତର ୩୪.୬୬ରେ ରହିଛି, ତାହାର ବିପଦ ସଙ୍କେତ ୩୮.୩୬ । ଅର୍ଥାତ ୪ ମିଟର ତଳେ ଜଳ ଅଛି। ସାଳନ୍ଦୀରେ ଆଜି ଜଳସ୍ତର ବହୁତ କମିଯାଇଛି ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି।
The Chief Engineer of the Odisha Water Resources Department, Dillip Raut, has shared a fresh update on the state's flood situation during a press briefing. He said the water level at the Anandapur Barrage stands at 34.66 metres, which is well below the danger mark of 38.36 metres.
