Centre Lifts Curbs on Commercial LPG Supply as Situation Improves

ହଟିଲା ବାଣିଜ୍ୟିକ LPG ସିଲିଣ୍ଡର କଟକଣା । ବାଣିଜ୍ୟିକ LPG ସିଲିଣ୍ଡର ଯୋଗାଣ ଉପରୁ କଟକଣା ହଟାଇଛନ୍ତି କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର । ମଧ୍ୟପ୍ରାଚ୍ୟ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଯୋଗୁ କମର୍ସିଆଲ୍ ଗ୍ୟାସ୍ ଯୋଗାଣ ଉପରେ କଟକଣା ଲାଗିଥିଲା । ଏବେ ସ୍ଥିତି ସୁଧୁରିବାରୁ କଟକଣା ହଟାଇ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ଏଣିକି ଏକାସଙ୍ଗେ ଅଧିକ ସଂଖ୍ୟକ LPG ଯୋଗାଣ କଟକଣା ବି କୋହଳ ହୋଇଛି । ଏକସଙ୍ଗେ ଅଧିକ ସଂଖ୍ୟକ LPG ଯୋଗାଣ କଟକଣା ୫୦% କୋହଳ କରାଯାଇଛି । ମାତ୍ର PNG ସଂଯୋଗ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ପୂର୍ବପରି ବଳବତ୍ତର ରହିବ । ତେବେ ରିଫିଲ୍ ବୁକିଂ ପାଇଁ ସମୟସୀମା ଅପରିବର୍ତ୍ତିତ ରହିଛି। ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳରେ ୨୫ ଦିନ, ଏବଂ ଗ୍ରାମାଞ୍ଚଳରେ ୪୫ ଦିନରେ ସିଲିଣ୍ଡର ରିଫିଲ୍ କରିପାରିବେ ।

The Central Government has lifted restrictions on the supply of commercial LPG cylinders. The curbs had earlier been imposed due to disruptions caused by the conflict in the Middle East. With the situation improving, the government has now decided to relax the restrictions.
The limit on bulk supply of commercial LPG cylinders has also been eased by 50 per cent, allowing consumers and businesses to procure larger quantities at a time. This move is expected to bring relief to commercial establishments dependent on LPG.
However, the decision regarding the expansion of PNG (Piped Natural Gas) connections will continue as before. The refill booking timeline also remains unchanged, with consumers allowed to book refills every 25 days in urban areas and every 45 days in rural areas.
