BJP Alleges BJD Misrepresented V.K. Pandian's Venezuela Visit

‘ପାଣ୍ଡିଆନ୍ ଭେନେଜୁଏଲା ଗସ୍ତକୁ ନେଇ ବିଜେଡି ଯେଉଁଭଳି ଚିତ୍ରଣ କରୁଛି ତାହା ଭୁଲ । କେତେବେଳେ କହୁଛନ୍ତି ଭାରତ ସରକାର ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି ପୁଣି କେତେବେଳେ କୁହାଯାଉଛି ସେ ଜାତିସଂଘ ତରଫରୁ ପଠାଯାଇଛି । ତାହା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୁଲ୍ କଥା । ବିଜେଡି ପାଣ୍ଡିଆନଙ୍କ ଭେନେଜୁଏଲା ଗସ୍ତକୁ ନେଇ ଭୁଲ ଚିତ୍ରଣ କରୁଛି । ସେ ସତ୍ୟସାଇ ବାବାଙ୍କ ଜଣେ ଭକ୍ତ । ଭେନେଜୁଏଲାରେ ସତ୍ୟସାଇ ବାବାଙ୍କ ଡେଲାୱେର୍ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଏବଂ ପୂର୍ବତନ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ମଧ୍ୟ ତାଙ୍କ ଶିଶ୍ୟ ଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ବିପତ୍ତି ବେଳେ ତାଙ୍କ ସଂଗଠନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି। ତାକୁ ବିଜେଡି ରାଜନୈତିକ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଭଙ୍ଗୀରେ ଯେଉଁଭଳି ଚିତ୍ରଣ କରୁଛି ତାହା କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହଁ। ସେ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କହିନାହାନ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭାରତ ସରକାର ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି। ତାଙ୍କ ଦଳର କେବଳ କିଛି କର୍ମୀ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଥରେ ଚିତ୍ରଣ କରିବା ପଛରେ ରାଜନୈତକ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ରହିଛି। - ଅନୀଲ ବିଶ୍ୱାଳ, ବିଜେପି ମୁଖପାତ୍ର

BJP spokesperson Anil Biswal has alleged that the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is presenting a misleading narrative regarding V.K. Pandian's visit to Venezuela. He claimed that reports suggesting Pandian was sent either by the Government of India or by the United Nations are incorrect and do not reflect the actual purpose of the visit.

Biswal stated that Pandian is a devotee of Sathya Sai Baba and had travelled to Venezuela on behalf of the Sathya Sai organisation during a period of crisis. He further said that Pandian himself has never claimed that he was deputed by the Government of India and criticised attempts to give the visit a political interpretation.

The BJP leader also alleged that some political workers were portraying the visit differently with political motives and urged that the matter should not be viewed through a political lens.
