Bhatimunda Ghantuas Allege Denial of Bell-Ringing Duty During Rath Yatra

ଭଟିମୁଣ୍ଡା କଂସାରୀ ଘଣ୍ଟ ନିଯୋଗର ଘଣ୍ଟୁଆଙ୍କୁ ଏଥର ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ସମୟରେ ଘଣ୍ଟ ବଜାଇବାରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ। ଏହି ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଆଣି ଗତକାଲି ପୁରୀ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ପ୍ରଶାସନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଧାରଣା ଦେଇଥିଲେ ଘଣ୍ଟୁଆ। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଭିଯୋଗ, ସତ୍ବଲିପିରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପରିବାରର ନାମ ଥିଲେ ବି ଭଟିମୁଣ୍ଡା ଘଣ୍ଟୁଆଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ବିବାଦ ଯୋଗୁଁ ସେମାନେ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ରହୁଛନ୍ତି।
Members of the Bhatimunda Kansari Ghanta Niyog have alleged that they have been prevented from performing the traditional duty of ringing bells during this year's Rath Yatra in Puri. Raising the issue, the Ghantuas staged a protest in front of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration Office. They claimed that despite their family's names being recorded in the Satwalipi, they continue to be deprived of the service due to an internal dispute among the Bhatimunda Ghantuas. The issue has once again brought attention to disputes over hereditary temple services linked to the annual Rath Yatra rituals.
